Get in touch with the Beacon team

Ask a private question, explain a problem, or find the right person in your ministry.

For everyone

These steps use the Beacon website unless the iPhone app is mentioned.

In this guide

Start with the person who can help

If something in Beacon isn't working, contact the Beacon team. We can help with the website, the app, and questions about using them.

Your local leader is the best person to ask about a meeting being cancelled, a serving assignment, a training requirement, or a sponsorship introduction. They know your community and make those decisions.

From the website

Use Message the team at the bottom of this page to open the website chat. You can start there without signing in.

Keep using the same browser to return to a website conversation. A chat you start as a visitor isn't automatically connected to your Beacon account or the support conversations in the iPhone app.

If the chat doesn't appear, reload this help page and check your connection. Chat may also be blocked by a browser extension or your network. You can try another browser, or use Contact support in the iPhone app.

From the iPhone app

Open your account from the profile button at the top of the app. In the Support section, choose Contact support. You can open an existing conversation or start a new one. Sign in if the app asks you to.

Return to that conversation to check for a reply. If an older conversation has been closed, start a new one and briefly explain what you still need help with.

Tell us where you got stuck

A short description is enough to start: what you were trying to do, which page you were on, and what happened instead. Include the wording of an error message if you have it. Let us know whether you're using the website or the iPhone app.

You don't need to send your password, a sign-in code, or someone's intake answers. If you share a screenshot, cover private names and information that aren't needed to explain the problem.

For an idea that other people could vote on, use the feedback boards. Accepted posts there are public, so keep account-specific questions in support.
